The Trumpets of Versailles

Founded in 1985 by trumpet players Patrick Marmande, Serge Rougegrez, and organist Georges Bessonnet, Les Trompettes de Versailles is a prestigious ensemble dedicated to performing Baroque and Classical repertoire. Its adaptable formation allows the exploration of a wide range of works, from trumpet and organ duos to more extensive configurations featuring timpani, saxhorn, and horn.

The ensemble brings together talented musicians who contribute to its artistic excellence:

Quintette Bacchus

Founded in 2015, the Quintette Bacchus brings together five exceptional musicians, winners of international competitions and passionate about the brass repertoire. As ambassadors of the “à la française” style, they explore a wide musical range, from classical to jazz, including popular music and original arrangements.

The quintet has distinguished itself through performances at prestigious festivals, including:

Their talent has earned them invitations on France Musique, in the shows Génération Jeunes Interprètes and Fauteuils d’Orchestre.

Notable Artistic Collaborations

Quintette Bacchus develops innovative partnerships, notably with organist Louis Jullien, with whom they perform Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, currently on tour. They have also collaborated with the Musique des Gardiens de la Paix of Paris, exploring new synergies between brass quintet and wind orchestra.

A Dynamic and Innovative Quintet

Continuing their pursuit of excellence, Quintette Bacchus continues to expand its repertoire and push the boundaries of ensemble playing. Whether in concert, on the radio, or in collaboration with other groups, they have established themselves as a key player in the brass scene in France and Europe.

Duo MiLLiP – Trumpet and Accordion

The Duo MiLLiP, founded in 2025 by Lucas Lipari-Mayer and Anthony Millet, offers a unique fusion between trumpet and accordion. Their repertoire blends classical and popular music, with a special focus on French, Polish, Hungarian, and Sicilian influences. 🔹 Repertoire: Classical music, popular music, original creations
